Personal training

Are you looking for measurable and visible results with your training? Or do you need help with starting your journey towards a healthier life?

I offer training and meal plans with results. My highest ambition is that you achieve your goals!

I used to be a marathon runner, but since 2018 I’ve regularly been training mostly resistance training. Through a lot of practise, and by trying out different programs and methods, I can ensure you that I have a broad knowledge of training techniques that will offer you the best and most efficient ways to achieve your goals.

I will get you in shape, whether that means losing/gaining weight, getting stronger, or just getting back into training as a part of a balanced and healthy lifestyle. Why not book a session already today and we’ll work it out together! I offer my services in Swedish, Finnish and English.

Physiotherapy

I am a physiotherapist since 2009, I have a Master´s Degree in Sports Medicine since 2012 and I am a personal trainer (FIHF 2018). I also hold a degree in orthopedic manual therapy (OMT). During the last years I have completed four courses of the McKenzie method; a patient-centered system for assessing, diagnosing, and treating spinal and extremity musculoskeletal pain.

My main areas of interest are the spine and neck, shoulders and knees. I also treat post-natal women suffering from pelvic floor symtoms. At my clinique I also welcome people for massage and psychosocial support.

Please note that all training sessions are 60 min. The prices do not include gym fees.

For home training/training at your gym I charge 20€ extra/hour.

Fitness

With my background as a physiotherapist I will give you a little extra in training and movement analysis. I am trained to detect risks in movement patterns and I will guide you to perform “clean” movements with minimal risk of injury. My training philosophy is highly effective, secure and easy to follow.

I simply prescribe training that works. I expect you to work hard. In return I will support you in the best possible way, especially through tougher periods. According to your goals I will set up either a combination of a training program and a nutrition plan, or then just the training part of it. I can also design an individualized meal plan. The training can be located outdoors or at a gym.

Nutrition

Whatever your goal is — be it to lose, gain, or maintain weight — my main interest is to keep you steadily energized throughout the day. I want to make your food intake support your training and vice versa.

I do not prescribe any specific diet, but I am a true proponent of ordinary healthy food, avoiding processed foods and fast food. Together we will check your food diary and we will set up a food plan individualized on your needs. Depending on your fitness goals, you might need to be using a calorie intake app. I will give my best advice on how to handle that and reach your goals.

 Group training

I offer group training courses outdoors throughout the year. Please follow me on social media to see the latest courses available. Whether you are looking for a private group training, for example among your friends or colleagues, don’t hesitate to contact me for a tailored experience.

Training Parents

Since 2018 I have been conducted Outdoor Training Parents groups. Both rookies and veterans are welcome to this group! We focus on pelvic floor muscles and re-building strength and aerobic capacity after birth. The course is held now at Crossfit Bulsa, indoors, on Tuesdays. Please contct me for more info.

Johanna

My big passion in life is to help other people. I love to see them grow and find joy in their lives through a balance between fitness, healthy eating and recovery.

Throughout my life I have always enjoyed movement. It started with my daily 1 km walks to and from daycare, followed by gymnastics, dances, aerobic classes and runs during school, until I entered my first physiotherapy class. There and then I knew I had found the core for my future profession. Ever since, I have educated myself in different areas of physiotherapy/personal training and really love the combination of it.

During my years in Stockholm I worked with obese children. The tools I used in weight control are still highly effective, and my research about weight loss through the years has deepened my knowledge in this area. My training philosophy has three corner stones: sleep/rest, qualitative and systematic training, and nutritious food. These are equally important for me. As a mother of three, I also have a special interest in women’s health. Combining post-natal training with outdoor exercise and social networking is really something I believe in.
